Halloween 2015

My first halloween pumpkin.

I am less scared of Halloween this year so I dressed up and went trick or treat with my neighbours. I told mummy I wanted to be a beautiful-scary-princess!

Dashain

Dashain is the most auspicious festival in Nepal and of Hinduism which signifies the triumph of good over evil - the victory of the Goddess Durga Devi over the wicked demons. It takes place in the bright lunar fortnight of September / October time. This year, Dashain falls over the period 12-22 Oct. It is akin to Christmas in importance and effect.

Labuan weekend

We had a long weekend in Labuan - an island in Malaysia, north of Brunei. Papa and his colleagues had a rugby tournament here. 

 This was our little ferry to Labuan island. 

At the rugby field, I spoke some Malay to my local fans. They were very impressed ;o)

Well done!

On Sunday (4th Oct) we celebrated Papa's 37th birthday. He had a relaxing Malaysian breakfast in bed/sofa.
