Today I am mummy’s little helper
I am helping mummy to make Achar - a sweet, sour and spicy
vegetables pickle.
Mummy dehydrates the carrots, cucumbers and cabbages (to
make them crunchy) then cooks them in a spicy paste (Ah Mah’s special recipe)
followed by lots of rice vinegar, sugar and grounded peanuts.
Papa will be very delighted to see this as he’s a big fan of
Ah Mah’s achar
